SO it’s Friday….the weekend is here, Labor Day weekend…to me just another day, but today is a little different, Juicy J is in town, so u know that show is gonna be hella turnt. Him and ASAP Ferg, super dope!! So to get ppl excited for Friday and tonights show!! You already know had to go with this Turn Up classic!!
So it’s Thursday….if ur on istagram it ThrowBack Thursdays, well here its Turn Up Thursday’s…Today is a chilly day and got me feeling like I just want to be in bed all day…Day’s like this are the best for sleeping, cause not to hot not to cold, lol. Well this is that song that’s telling u to “Get up Bitch”, lol..
So basically this is a free day, it can be what ever I was feeling or listening to. I gotta come up with a better name smh, but for now it is what it is. Not sure if you guys will like this song or not, but when I first heard this song, it felt like it kinda belonged in the opening credits of some gangster as movie, with the camera panning down on a huge city. So I almost forgot to do this Money Tuesday’s post, but better late than never, I guess… So this “get motivated song”, hmmm, is kinda last minute, it’s an oldie, but a goodie..I first listed to this album and project during the summer or fall of 2003, not sure, but def in 2003. All I can say, is I listened to this cd over and over for a cple weeks after I first heard it. It pretty much opened up the doors for a bunch of new dope music I would later get into…Take a listen, this shit used to knock hard in the whip…Hustle Hard!!
So it’s Monday, for some people its the worst day of the week, but for me, I don’t mind so much. It’s the start of a new week and maybe some potential opportunities. So I never get on here and blog, why well cause I’m a slacker…lol. Well in order to get more motivated with blogging, I came up with this concept. I don’t know about you guys but I def like to listen to music, new and old…well more new that old..regardless dope music is dope music in my opinion no matter the genre or era. I was thinking, and thought it would be dope if I could try and blog a new song everyday of what ever new music I was listening to, or what was motivating me at the time (could even be a mix). At the same time I would like feed back as far as what you guys were listening to or if I was missing out on something. Well in order to try and make everyday a differnt type of day in regards to music. I came up with this……
Cake Up Sunday’s- You know that music that be making you think about ur boo, or can get u in that mood….
Trap Monday’s-Basically some dope turn up trap shit…
Money Tuesday’s-Any type of music that can make u wanna get ur ass up and get it…get that money…like when ever I hear sme Pusha T., makes me wanna sell rock, ahaha.
Heart Wednesdays- Not sure about this one yet..still need a good name, but was figuring anything any genre, that I was feeling, a free day of what ever..
Turn Up Thursdays-Need I need explain?? Any genre or era, shit that gets u going..
Flashback Friday’s-Some old shit, no matter the genre
Get It Saturdays- Not sure but what ever gets u in the mood to hit the streets..maybe that pregame song before u start ur night…
So there you have it a plan of sorts….will def fine toon, but for now, let’s see how this goes..
